About Eve Center
What is the mission of Eve Center?
Eve Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting healing and growth for women through biblical, no-cost, safe, and confidential peer counseling and training.
What is your vision?
We desire for every hurting woman to have access to emotional, relational, and spiritual care that provides lasting hope.
What makes Eve Center unique?
We sit in the unique space where spiritual care and lived experience meet. Every peer counselor has walked through her own healing journey and now comes alongside others with the comfort she has received from God (2 Corinthians 1:3–5).
Do you provide services for men or couples?
Our ministry is specifically designed for women. We do not provide counseling for men or couples, but we can recommend trusted local resources.

No. We welcome women from all backgrounds. Our approach is rooted in biblical principles, and we are open about our faith, but participation is always by choice.
What kinds of services do you provide?
Can I participate in both 1-on-1 counseling and a recovery group?
Yes. Many women find it helpful to combine one-on-one sessions with group support.
What happens after my 10-week counseling series ends?
You may join a recovery group, attend WHOLE online teachings, or consider becoming a trained volunteer to help others.

Yes, in some cases. We offer online options for certain programs. Contact us to see what’s available in your area.
Can I bring my child to my session?
We are unable to provide child care during sessions. For your comfort and privacy, we recommend arranging care before you come.
What should I expect in a counseling session?
A safe and confidential place to be heard, loved, and valued. You’ll define your personal goals, and your peer counselor will provide biblical encouragement and practical tools. If desired, we open in prayer.
How am I matched with a peer counselor?
We prayerfully consider each match, aiming to connect you with a counselor who has walked through something similar to your own experience. Availability and location are also considered.
Are sessions confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is a core value. We use a secure intake system, store no written names at sites, and restrict intake access to our Director and Site Managers.
What should I expect from a recovery group?
A safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment led by two peer counselors who have walked the same road. Topics include impact, acceptance, guilt, depression, anger, grief, forgiveness, and more.
How much do services cost?
All services are offered at no cost to remove financial barriers to mental and spiritual care.

A safe and confidential place to be heard, loved and valued with a focus on tools and steps to reach a specific goal, defined by you, in emotional, relational and/or spiritual healing. We open in prayer (if desired); we listen and we equip with proven effective tools and coping skills. Each session is 50 min with a Volunteer Peer Counselor who has been through something similar as you.
How am I matched to my volunteer peer counselor?
Our first step is always PRAYER, asking the LORD which peer counselor is right. We do our best to match you with a woman who has been through something similar to what you are going through. Of course, location and availability come into play as well.
Are my counseling sessions confidential?
Yes! “Safe” and “Confidential” are intentionally a part of our Mission Statement. We go through great lengths to be sure everything said in peer counseling sessions is kept confidential. We do not even write the names of clients anywhere in our sites; we always use her peer counselors’ name and the client initials when scheduling appointments.
To keep confidence, our intake process is through a confidential program requiring a username and password unique to each client and volunteer. The only person that can see the information on the intake is the Director and Site Manager.
What should I expect when participating in a Recovery Group?
A safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment to heal and grow; Deep healing and validation happen when we are in a community of women who have all experienced a similar trauma. Discussions on topics for healing are led by 2 peer counselors who have been through the experience themselves: topics like Impact, Acceptance, Guilt, Depression, Anger, Grief, Forgiveness and more.
How much do Eve Center services cost?
There is no-cost to any Eve Center Client Service. Eve Center was created, in part, to remove the financial barriers to mental health.
Our services are no cost to our clients because donors who believe in the impact Eve Center makes in women’s lives have paid for the services to be provided.
