Ronda serves at the Life Center as the Site Manager for Cleves.  She began her relationship with Eve Center as a Volunteer Peer Counselor in 2023.

 

Ronda’s early career began in various corporate settings where she ultimately held a sales position in the packaging industry with accounts in the consumer products field.  Business circumstances, however, allowed her to dramatically change her career path midstream from the corporate setting into the nonprofit sector.  Ronda’s first nonprofit job was in direct care at St. Joseph Orphanage which led to a move to Best Point (formerly The Children’s Home of Cincinnati) and a 20+ year “second” career where her heart felt at home enhancing the lives of vulnerable children and families.  Ronda never left the important work of 1:1 support to students, parents and staff, no matter how her position evolved across programming. 

 

Upon retirement from Best Point, Ronda felt inspired to remain available to those seeking connection, direction and hope for their lives, this time with a focus on women through the Eve Center.  A life thread and foundation in her work in whatever setting is the knowledge that change happens through relationships built on trust and empathy.  Because “we’ve been where you are”, has great meaning in the transformative work of God.

 

Ronda is married and shares a blended family with her husband, Don.  They have four grown children and five grandchildren Gideon, Ruth, Camden, Rory and Rowan.  Besides the special joys of being “Grammy”, Ronda enjoys gardening, reading, exploring nature and hanging out with friends and family.
