Rachel Almendinger
Groups Manager
groups@evecenter.org
Since 2017, Rachel has been serving the Eve Center in many roles: Volunteer Peer Counselor, Board Member, and Board President. She now has the privilege of serving as the Groups Manager at the Eve Center and oversees our Recovery Groups Program where hundreds of women receive healing and freedom. Rachel brings a professional background in non-profit management, fundraising, program coordination and technology to the Eve Center.
The Volunteer Peer Counseling program not only prepared her to serve as a peer counselor, but gave her additional knowledge and tools to work through her own struggles with anxiety, codependency and negative thought patterns. Rachel is passionate about helping other women find healing and peace through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Rachel believes that Eve Center is truly unique because it provides a safe space for women to heal together while strengthening their faith in Jesus. Rachel reminds herself daily that “God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-control” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Rachel lives in West Chester with her husband Brad and their three beautiful young daughters. When she’s not chasing her toddler around or driving her other daughters to their activities, she enjoys walking outside, dancing and chatting with friends.
